The City of St. Joseph, Missouri decided it was time to replace a vintage “Suspension” pedestrian bridge with a new one. The existing bridge had been a landmark on the south side of St. Joseph for many years. The new bridge is a pre-engineered structure and the “Suspension” portion is for looks only. The project was completed ahead of schedule as part of an annual weekend celebration.
